AROUND EL EDEN
In front of the Camping's entrance there's the shore of the river Carrion, where is possible fishing trouts and crabs, but also sunbathing or river rafting. In the neighborhood there's a leisure centre with swimming pool, tennis and padel court and football pitch. Keyplace to discover and follow the Castilla's Canal and the origins of the Romanic Palentian with the visit of romanic villas La Olmeda and La Tejera.
Frente a su puerta se encuentra la ribera del río Carrión donde se pueden pescar truchas y cangrejos así como disfrutar de su playa fluvial, realizar piragüismo etc. A 200 m. se encuentra el área deportiva que dispone de piscinas, pistas de tenis, padel, fútbol. Lugar estratégico para descubrir la cuna del Románico palentino, como también las villas romanas de La Olmeda y Quintanilla de la Cueza y El Canal de Castilla.

THE ROMANIC ORIGINS
La Olmeda, a Roman Villa, was discovered in 1968 by Javier Cortes Álvarez de Miranda on his own land. It was excavated and kept up by him for 12 years, including the consolidation and preservation of mosaics and the construction of the first protective buildings (two stands), as well as the performance of the guided visits. MOUNTAIN BIKING
With a mountain bike there're lots of trips waiting for you, but the saint James way is not the only one! The amazing sunflowers fields will go along with you finding out the Castilla's Canal: despite the advent of the 21st century, the 18th century feat of hydraulic engineering was declared a Site of Cultural Interest.You can travel along its banks on boat, bicycle, horse or on foot. You will have ample opportunity to enjoy and explore the artistic heritage of the towns through which it flows, and sample the local cuisine to recover your strength.
THE RIVER CARRION EXPERIENCE
The river Carrion, which flows along the countryvillage​, is full of wildlife and is very famous for his crabs which are a delicious ingredient for a fish soup or a Paella. But the river is an incredible stage also for adventure: don't miss rafting the river. Ask us about it!

THE CITY OF CARRION
Carrion de Los Condes, with its seven churches, is one obligatory step in the Saint James Way and don't miss the Saint Zoilo Monastery!
Situated in the province of Palencia, where the Otero's Christ is a famous monument, Carrion is well organised country village and well connected to the principal highway.
